Nicole Vlanich is the Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Moldmakers (CAMM) and a leading advocate for Canada’s advanced manufacturing sector. She is the driving force behind CAMM TechBridge, a groundbreaking initiative modernizing mold making training with VR/AR simulations, online learning, and school engagement programs that connect youth, educators, and underrepresented groups to careers in skilled trades. Under her leadership, CAMM has expanded Manufacturing Month across Ontario, launched a virtual reality simulator, and forged strong partnerships with government, schools, and industry.
Beyond workforce innovation, Nicole champions the mold making industry at the provincial and federal levels, working to secure its recognition as a Red Seal trade. With dual degrees in Developmental Psychology and Family & Social Relations from the University of Windsor, she brings a people-focused perspective to manufacturing—bridging technology, workforce development, and advocacy to ensure Canada’s mold makers remain globally competitive.
